5th Annual Slade Dozier Memorial
Fishing Tournament
October 10 – 17, 2020
Location: any waters in the
Eastern Time Zone
The 5th Annual Slade Dozier Memorial Fishing Tournament will take place between October 10-17, 2020. You will fish one 12-hour (or less) day during this window. Fish caught will be logged in an app called iAngler. This year, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we will not hold an in-person banquet and the silent auction will be held strictly online through GiveSmart. All proceeds from this event will be used to further the mission of the Slade Dozier Foundation: to raise awareness of and promote research toward understanding and preventing SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood).
$75 Tournament Entry includes:
- One tournament entry
- One long sleeve performance fishing shirt
- One participant bucket (must be picked up in person, we cannot ship these)
All tournament rules and regulations will be distributed by email. Fishing can be done in any waters in the Eastern Time Zone (no stocked ponds) between October 10-17, 2020. Local DNR rules and regulations will apply. Tournament species include Redfish, Flounder, Trout, Largemouth Bass, and Catfish. Virtual Weigh-In will be through the iAngler app based on length. All participants must provide their own boat and supplies.
